Wife's b-day present w/ everything great till I installed clamav from sourcefire. Now, I can't turn the computer off, I can't remove the program, I can't use the mouse, I can't do anything. Besides the drivers, etc. It's got adobe cs6 master suite, win office 2013, win 8.1 and clamav. The problem started after the clamav download. I really want to give this to my wife. Any thoughts on how to get rid of this software? Thanks in advance!

First: do a hard boot or shut off the PC by unplugging it. If it is a laptop you may have to remove the battery.
Next: get the windows setup disk and do a system repair.
If you cannot do a system repair you may have to re-install Win 8.
