SEASONIC M12II-750W vs XFX Core 750W

After so many years i finally decided to replace my old psu in order to do a future upgrade. So i' m divided and i would like your opinion. I believe both are excellent psu made by Seasonic and their only difference is that M12II is semi-modular but a little more expensive. So what do you think about it?

The SeaSonic M12II-750W power supply belongs to the highest tier of power supplies, it is high-quality. Go for that one instead.

You are buying a seasonic power supply either way because xfx uses seasonic as their oem. whatever one is cheaper would be the best. If you don't like having to hide a bunch of extra cables, and would like the cleanest look possible the modular one would work the best.

Yeah the extra cables are my only concern because at the moment i dont have so much free space in my case, it is already crammed. I 'm just wondering if the XFX psu is lower quality than the "original" Seasonic..still a bit confused :/

The seasonic one is better quality but they both are extremely good. You would be perfectly happy with either since they both are so solid

Evga pays a lot of money that goes into research and production for their stuff. They just don't go out and look for the cheapest oem like some of the others do. I like most of evgas power supplies over even corsairs non seasonic power supplies.

Corsair's best line of PSU: Corsair AX
EVGA's best line: SuperNOVA
SeaSonic's best line: all of 'em

I ultimately recommend you to go with the M12II 750W.

The G2 , P2 , T2 EVGA units are all tier 1 power supplies made by SuperFlower.

Yes i agree..but as you said before both Evga and Seasonic build equal quality psu. So you cant go wrong with each of them

Took my decision..i ll get the EVGA one. About at the same price it is Gold certified and fully-modular+10 years warranty. Seasonic is Bronze,semi-modular and 5 years warranty

Your generalizations are useless.

Corsair's best series is the AXi Series with all models made by Flextronics. The AX1500i has 80 PLUS TITANIUM Certification and is their best model, period.

There were a lot of customer complaints about Seasonic's X-Series models having coil whine. The Corsair and XFX models that were based on those same X-Series platform models also suffered from the same coil whine complaints. If you're building an Intel Haswell system you shouldn't get a Seasonic S12II Bronze Series PSU.

EVGA's models that are made by Super Flower are the only ones that I would recommend.

Just being curious..which XFX and Corsair models were based on Seasonic's X platform? Does it also include the M12II series or it 's safe to buy one of those for a Haswell system?
