My computer keeps crashing during games and all the hardware is perfectly capable of playing these games. I primarily play Shogun 2: Total War on my gaming rig. Here are the specs of my rig:
CPU: AMD FX-4300 Vishera / 3.8GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1024mb GDDR5
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS
MB: AMD 760G Chipset
RAM: 8 GB (4/4)
If you have any suggestions on how to diagnose this problem or what not, please let me know.
NOTE: also, I've been doing upgrades myself but I've been very careful making sure everything is plugged in correctly and even had some professional help. Thanks guys!
UPDATE:: I've installed the given monitor and I'm able to look at the temps. I'll do a test to see what the temps are at now vs. how they are while playing games. What are acceptable temperatures for a CPU and GPU; also, is there any way to speed up the RPM's on the fans?
