Hello all! I have recently built a new computer, and it is great, other than the fact that when the CPU(AMD FX 8350) reaches ~40C Socket and ~30C Core temps the whole system either blue screens or just freezes. I have read that the CPU's throttle temp is well above this, and yet I am still crashing almost right when it hits this point.

Running IntelBurnTest twice in a row has led the system to crash around ~40C socket and ~30C Core.

Edit: Forgot to add that, other than the two fans on the H100i, I am running all my fans through a fan controller. This should not matter, but since this appears to be temp related, I just wanted to add that.

System Specs:
AMD FX 8350
Asus M5A99FX
Corsair H100i
EVGA 750G2
EVGA GTX 780

Hmmm thats definitely very odd. Maybe try setting the voltage manually to something around 1.26-1.28 and see if that increases the amount of time it is able to stay stable in the test. I am at work right now so I wont be able to help too much but I will be able to look into it more when I get off

Those temps are quite low for full load....how long does is the test active before it shuts down? A few seconds or like 5 minutes....the shut downs are most likely related to the vcore voltage to the cpu..what is that set at? if it is set to auto use cpuz to get the voltage under load....are you overclocking this cpu? if not and its at stock speeds then the core voltage should be around 1.25v or so

Around ~30 seconds for the test to run before the crash occurs. This is all at stock speeds and the core voltage is, at the time of crash, 1.224 V.

Checked the AI Suite, and it had the CPU overclocked to 4.3GHz. Resetting it to normal seemed to fix the issue! Ran 5 runs of Intel burner and the temperature went to ~45C for the socket, 30C for the cores and no crash! Thanks for the help!

Sorry for the delay, Checked using HWmonitor and Corsair Link, both state around 30C for the socket. Corsair Link reads ~27C for the CPU its self, HWMonitor says ~10C for the package, with core temp reading the same thing for CPU #0. Ambient temp is around ~20C.

Edit: Just realized you wanted full load temps. Running at full load, Core Temp, Corsair Link, and HWMonitor all log ~25C for core temp, and 42C for socket temp. I did fiddle with the fans on my H100i and set them to performance mode, since they were not to begin with.
