You didn't specifically say what your case budget is, also whether you are including Windows OS in your build.

A guy I know likes bling cases likes this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

THe build in this example includes a case w a window (not sure how many lights, but it also has a 500W PSU).

Yes, that is a problem. That's the reason we have stickies at the top of the forum. Please edit your post to include all the information from the *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* sticky at the top of the forum. How are we supposed to know what country you live in if you don't state it? I had been putting together a nice build for you until I saw your post...

That's kind of a tweaked version of AMD Radeon's build using Canadian retailers.

I've never used that particular board before. I simply selected it to meet the budget. The ASRock H97 PRO4 motherboard that AMD Radeon initially suggested would probably be a better choice, but pushes the build over budget. I, personally, have had the best luck with Gigabyte and Asus motherboards. If I was building the system I would probably go with the Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H, but that's even more expensive. I guess it just comes down to whether there is a little wiggle room in the budget.

There could be adjustments, like the fx-6300 but I know Intel is better but what would you recommend? I always thought the 6300 was good for gaming and recording

The i5 is a much more powerful CPU than the FX-6300. The FX-6300 is more comparable to dual-core i3 Intel chips for gaming.
