Looks like a good build.

When you get a cooler, I'd go for the CM hyper 212 EVO rather than the 212 plus. It's a newer model with better air flow and contact surface, although it is slightly louder at max rpm.

Looks good. I will have to say though, if all you're going to be doing is gaming, then you only need DDR3-1600 RAM. It saves you $10. Also, buying a CPU cooler later on because your going to overclock later on is like buying a car and saying "I won't be driving it until later on, so I don't need the keys." Just spend the $30 or so and have it. It won't hurt.

edit: Get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, it's better and newer than the 212 Plus.

+1 for this update to your build.

Z97 + Devils Canyon CPU will be better and cost about the same.

My only suggestion is to look at a 650w PSU so you have a little overhead. The same XFX 650w ( * %#A on the 12v rail) is a good choice, or a Rosewill Hive 650 (* 46A on the 12v rail). Both are very good budget PSU lines. Just make sure that is enough amperage for your GPU.

I agree it's a good build but if you think you might want to drop in a second GPU than you will want a 650w minimum, and that would only just handle it if you got a good one. Also PSU's are less efficient and create a lot more heat around maximum draw. I would go for a 700-750w myself, that way you can still OC after you expand. The PSU I added is also semi-modular for improved cable management.

Also if you want to SLI later on, you'll need to change the mobo. Even if you stick with the cheaper PSU for now, i'd still spend an extra $2.5 to get an Asrock Extreme 3, which will let you drop in a second card without a mobo change.
