My friend's Thinkpad T60 laptop is getting the "C0000218 unknown hard error" blue screen, and she does not have the Windows XP install disc, so I'm going to try to boot it into safe mode and wipe clean via winnt32.exe. My question is, after reinstalling via this method, and assuming it worked, how do I reinstall all the drivers? I think the basic one I'll need is the wireless driver (for the others I can probably download a package from Lenovo or something). The laptop is very old I doubt she has a copy of all the drivers on disc, if Lenovo even provided one.
If it doesn't work I'll just persuade her to get a new laptop as this one is about 6-7 years old anyways.
