I want to buy a wifi router that supports USB as well as DSL.

I am currently using my USB data card and plan to switch to broadband connection sometime soon.

But I want to be able to use wifi with both USB data card and broadband connection, though not simultaneously. Is this possible??

Also suggest some good wifi routers for the same

You can actually use them simultaneously but not to combine bandwidth just run some things on one and other sites on the second.

Many of the Asus routers and TPlink routers support usb broadband. You need to look through the list of supported cards. It is not just the hardware you must also be sure the ISP is supported. Some small number of ISP refuse to release the information to allow the router to connect.

DD-WRT also has a very large list of supported modems.

The bad news is I am not sure if any DSL device has this support. Your best bet is to see if one the ASUS or TPLINK models that has DSL also has support of wireless broadband. I have only used the version that have ethernet WAN ports.
