New PC build with no issues except for the 2011 HOMEFRONT Game Played on STEAM.
Have used 3 Wireless and two Wired Mouse devices all with the same result.
Once the Game loads Mouse Pointer has a mind of it's own. Despite attempting all available configurations of the Mouse devices it "Floats", "Races" or Drags unpredictably. ONLY in the Homefront Game.
Far cry 3, Battlefield 4, Medal of Honor Warfighter all function as they should as do my older games.
Steam support suggested a a couple of "solutions" to no avail and then suggested the "Steam community Forum" which was a futile excercise.

If anyone has had this or similar happen and possibly a solution, would appreciate hearing about it.

Thank you.

Solution
If your mouse works fine everywhere else, then it must be a game issue. Maybe this is a known issue on a homefront forum or maybe the developer has a forum.

Tried on/off and all in between, of all Mouse Parameters. Within Game and from Control on Windows 7
If I boot the Steam page before initiating the Homefront game, the Mouse Pointer still functions predictably.

Once the Game start page appears, where all options are available for "clicking" Multiplayer/single player, Game controls etc., the Mouse Pointer starts it's nonsense right there, and just choosing an option to click becomes hit and miss because of the "float" effect. Never known anything close to this . It's nuts. All other games and whatever else I do is just fine.

Agreed, it's a game issue. The Game creators are out of business and the Homefront Forum on "STEAM" , on which the game has to be played, was of no help.
I'll archive the DVD I suppose for now , maybe I'll find a solution down the line somewhere.

Thanks for your input.
