I'm replying to Fred Friedman I think is name is. I tried doing as yu suggested but I only have mobile broadband and my dongle won't work in Safe Mode with Networking. Up to now I've been able to use it in Safe Mode without Networking or Command Prompt. In any case, I don't have a password.
It's no good if people are finding different ways of dealing with the problem, there needs to be a way that works for everyone. I've even done a factory reset and backed up some of my files but no luck. I keep getting the same message and my camera shows up as an unknown device. I'm still sure the camera is ok.
