Hey guys,
I have a 13inch mid 2011 MacBook Air that is still under 3year Apple warranty for about 30 more days. Over the last 6 months or so the fan has really started kicking up, I get tons of memory leaks in safari, firefox and chrome, and my CPU temp sits 50-60 and can kick up over 80C. The high temps come from streaming video and memory leaks which can happen during routine web browsing (4-8 tabs, usually only half have ad content).

Should I try and get Apple to replace something while my Air is still under warranty? If yes, what should I ask them to replace?

try compressed air to blow out the fan vent and if that don't work tell apple that it has been running hot and they will know what to do

Hmm my macbook air doesn't have a fan vent… Do you think a clean install would help? I don't even know how to do that on a mac.
