is it necessary to buy a psu with six pin connector ?

iam going to build a gaming cpu....
my specification :
cpu : i5 4670k
motherboard : asus z87k
psu : Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU
but i have come to know that some graphics card need a six pin connector in psu.... is it really necessary to buy a psu with 6 pin connector ?

The VS650has two 6-pin connectors, alsk known as pcie connectors.
It is not necessary to have a psu that has 6 pin connectors, one could use molex to 6 pin adapters.
But... if a psu does not have such connectors, it is either very old or it is a cheap unit that can not deliver sufficient power.
I would not worry about haswell compatibility. It only affects certain low power states that are not necessary.

The psu you need is determined by your graphics card. Your vs650 can handle a very strong card,

CPU : 1 CPU Connector with 4 + 4 pin
PCI-e : 2 PCI-e 6+2 pin
SATA : 6 SATA Cables
Floppy : 1 Floppy Connector with 4 pins

guys,,, would you tell me how many pins are there in it.....
is its connectivity features are good ?

Motherboard :1 Motherboard Connector with 20 + 4 pin
CPU 1 CPU Connector with 4 + 4 pin
PCI-e 2 PCI-e 6+2 pin
SATA 6 SATA Cables
Floppy 1 Floppy Connector with 4 pin

is this psu is good ?,,,, does it have 6 pins ?
