Cannot connect to the internet

Just installed windows 7. And i cannot get any conection. Opened the devicd menager there was nothing in the network adapters. Then i connected my smartphone via usb and finnaly got some connection. Tried connecting directly to my wi-fi router, nothing happened. Can anyone help?

If a laptop, locate the brand/model/type and go to their website and download/install the drivers.
If a desktop, locate the Motherboard brand/model/type and go to their website to download the drivers.

I didnt get it with any drivers... I was using linux for 2 months before I changed my OS to windows and the wi-fi worked on linux... -.-'
