No sticker, came with win 8 installed, can`t install free 8.1 or refresh

Dear Toms, I have basicly cloned hdd to ssd, I can`t refresh win 8, and have no prod.key sticker. Win 8 is activated. Win defender can`t update after running one month, something is lurking in the registry, Win 8 halts..I need step by step to grasp how to reinstall the system..but "what in the Bios" -in my lenovo lap. the free win 8.1 update won`t acomplish the install off the update. ...maby something to do with ssd\hdd...relation...Should I remove the SSD?

Contact Lenovo. They don't provide product keys on their products, but if you explain your probably to customer service, they'll likely provide you with your product key. Not guaranteed though.

Thanks. I will do that... I also got a message that the drive is locked during refresh and complete system restoring; - I got " a drive is missing".....after trying to choose the hdd drive to boot..hmmmm..
