Before I start, here is my build (basic info):
CPU: FX- 8320
GPU: EVGA GTX 770 SC
Mobo: M5aR97 R2.0
Alright, now into the nitty gritty. I recently downloaded Tera : Rising, ran the setup and jumped right in. Right away I noticed my frame rate was low, I dealt with it for a while, but then started to get a headache. I opened up fraps and was suprised to find that I was sitting at around 20-30 fps. It was constantly jumping around. I opened up task manager to find my CPU was only at 25% ish and that my GPU barely had its fans on and was on low usage aswell. I tried changed around game settings and the only way to get past 30 is to put everything on minimum, but then the game looks like my cat threw up on my screen. So since throttling and heat are not an issue, is the game just terribly coded? I find it really hard to believe that I can't even get a steady 30fps on my monster of a pc. Anyone else play this game and have any input???
