Hey Guys,

I've recently put together my brand new build.

I'll list my specs first;
Motherboard: Asus M5ap7 EVO R.2.0
CPU: AMD FX 8320
GPU: Nvdia Geforce GTX 660
RAM: 8gb

My CPU fan seems to be making a large amount of noise, even when idle sometimes. My case is a Corsair Carbide Series 200R Compact ATX, there is plenty of room inside the case for sufficient air circulation.

I have looked at my bios settings and changed the CPU fan to 'silent' mode, to no avail. My GPU idles around 39 degrees to 41 degrees, and peaks to 65-70 degrees under load (depending which game I'm playing), which is perfectly normal and safe, also indicating that it is not an air circulation issue in the case.
I also have 2 other pre-built in Corsair chassis fans, 1 which is located just above the motherboard, on the back of the case, and the other located just in front of the hard drive bays at the front of the case, both chassis fans move air around the case quietly and efficiently. I have tried the application Speed Fan, which usually solves most peoples problems with fans, but I haven't got a clue how to work the application!
This is coming from someone who has pretty good knowledge on the ins and outs of computers. If I've forgotten anything feel free to ask, any kind of help and input is greatly appreciated!

Many Thanks
-Ryan

Yes, it is stock unfortunately, I'm just a bit puzzled because the temperature doesn't exceed 55 degrees for the cpu, yet the fan still decides to spin up to nearly full power, I'll see what I can do about an aftermarket cooler, thanks guys!
