This is my first time building my own gaming pc and i wanted to make sure all my parts worked well together before i ordered them. I have little knowledge of pc's but used pcpartpicker to choose all my parts.

My parts list http://pcpartpicker.com/p/k96fFT

If there is anything i need to change please let me know and thanks

The motherboard (Ga97-UD3P) has an 8 phase VRM design which is better for overclocking and powering the fx series CPUs. The Asus M5A97 R2 has a 4 phase so it would limit your overclocking a bit.

For the PSU, the XFX is a much higher quality power supply.

I would take FX-6300 only if I'd overclock it ( not responsible for any damage) otherwise i would get an i5. Also the AM3+ socket is closing to an end, so you will probably have to change mobo next time you upgrade.
