Hello,

I've done some research into building a gaming rig, and I'm looking for a build that will be around $1500 or lower. Here are my current specs (Excluding Monitor/Mouse/Keyboard/Speakers)

Motherboard: MSI Z97-GD65 $179.99

Processor: Intel i5-4690k $239.99

GPU: EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked $336.99

Ram: G-skill 8 GB 2x4 $79.99

HHD: Western Digital Black Series 1TB 7200 RPM $57.99

SSD: Crucial MX 100 256 GB

Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 $139.99

Power Supply: Antec HCG 620M $79.99

Other Components: Coolermaster Evo 212 CPU Fan

Okay so here are my questions.

1. Is this overall build sufficient for a high end gaming rig?
2. Is everything compatible with eachother? (I've done research on this, just making sure.)
3. Am I spending too little/too much on one particular component?
4. Should I spend any extra money on cooling components other than the fans included in the case?
Lastly,
5. Are there any components that I am overlooking that I will need for the computer?

Also, if there are any other comments/suggestions, please let me know. I am willing to upgrade some of my components considering this build is around $1300.

Thanks

i suggest you the msi z97 gaming 5 because cheaper and better
i suggest you a samsung 840 evo for ssd
1 = more then enough
2 = yes everything works together
3 = yes ssd is not necessary for gaming and get a better pc cases
4 = ? its up to you ...you need a minimal of two fans , one at the front and one at the back
5 = for overclocking the cpu , you need a watercooling system + more fans
