Can I use my drivers and utilities cd from my dell windows 7 laptop to change my password?

No, to reset a windows password you will need a copy of windows 7either on disk or USB, drivers utilities will do nothing to change your computers password. There are ways to get around re-installing windows but you'll at least need the disk/usb
