Hello bros,

I'm building a new Gaming PC which I'm buying all the parts separately and take it to someone to put it together for me, there's one problem though, I'm not so good when it comes to choosing the right parts, I have done some research and put together my own but just to be sure, I'll just have you bros check it for me.

Here are the specs at the moment:

•ASUS Z97-DELUXE ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboard
•Intel Core i7-4790K Processor
•Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 500GB SSD
•Seagate Barracuda 3 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 7200 RPM 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive
•Asus GeForce GTX 780 TI 3GB Graphics Card
•Kingston HyperX Beast 16 GB kit 2400MHz DDR3 PC3
•EVGA SuperNOVA 850G2 80PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V/EPS12V 850W Power Supply
•ASUS DVD-RW Optical Drive

My top questions right now are..

Will this computer run perfectly if I put it all together?

Which PC Case will fit all of this along with a few other fans?

Are the Kingston HyperX Beast a good choice for this build?

Which liquid CPU Cooler? Corsair Hydro H100i or Cooler Master Nepton 280L?

Feel free to take things out and add things in, you bros are the expects, not me as I mentioned before.

Thanks Bros! God bless.

Solution

It should if all the parts are functional. You should test each one to make sure they are not defective (or DOA).

Most ATX-sized case should work. I recommend the Fractal Design Define R4.

Looks good to me.

H100i but please make sure the case supports it before purchasing. The case that I recommended will support it.

You need a 500GB SSD? That's rather expensive, no?

It looks like a pretty good build man, very solid.

Yeah kingston ram in general is good, ive never had a problem with it and I dont see why the beast wont be good.

For a pc case it depends on what style you like, how much you are willing to pay and also how large you can fit in your planned space.

The 500GB SSD is actually quite cheap right now so I thought might as well since I'm saving quite a bit of money from buying parts separately and not buying it already built.

Thanks for the information though bro!

God bless.

You could fit all of that on a M-itx board and in a bitfenix prodigy ;-)

H100i is the way to go. The drives seem completely overkill but each to their own. I can't remember if Asus does a direct cu II for the 780 ti but the 20% extra cooling gives more overclocking headroom or a quieter rig in general :)
