I bought a PNY Optima 240 Gb ssd and have tried for the past two days every possible solution, trying to figure out why I get less than 10 MB/s for reads and write using AS SSD benchmark. I have a gigabyte x58a-ud3r and I understand that for this mobo the SATA3's are not truly SATA3, but I've tried SATA3, SATA2, made sure it's all in AHCI, installed all the correct drivers, tried ATTO (only got 10 MB/s), and even did a secure erase followed by another re-installation of win7.
I have since packed up the SSD into its package and it's ready to be shipped back for my money back, but I have to know what could possibly be wrong with my computer or ssd..
