Motherboard: ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Case: Rosewill Line Glow ATX Mid Tower Case

So I am trying to install my motherboard when I notice that there are not standoffs on the top of the case where I think I need them

you can see on the top there are no standoffs to screw in the last two holes of my motherboard. Am I doing something wrong or can I live without it? There are these black little bumps though at the spot where the standoffs are suppose to be, I tried screwing a screw in that hole but it won't tighten up. Any help?

Can you get a closer image. Do you have a standoff above the right side of the cpu cutout?

Your board is not as deep as a normal ATX board so it will not get 3 rows of screws. They do have rubber bumpers or even plastic holders for the right most top and bottom hole.

You do not need those to be screwed down, but have to be VERY careful when connecting anything(memory/power supply and even SATA connectors) to that side of the board.

I personally have used cut down white eraser(soft enough to form to any pins on the boards underside, yet firm enough to support it.) to make a nice spacer(so behind lets say the top and bottom corner as well as the ATX power connector.) to hold sections of boards to prevent too much flex when connecting plugs.

It would looks something like this. This eraser is deep enough to fully support the video card. In this case it is the small board that made be want a bit of extra support.

Again, you should still have screws in all other holes on the board.

I am going to add an EDIT.

I was checking out a video of the case you have and it seems to have the needed holes for your board.

Again because the board is not as deep it may look deceiving, but it should work. Remember to support the board with your finger or eraser/rubber bumper when connecting the ATX cable as they will place LOTS of stress on it.

A standoff location not shown[GREEN] in the image(hidden by the fan cable on the left side.) should be under the pci-e slot

Make sure you have brass standoffs in each of those locations and the board should drop right in.

Thanks for the reply, and yeah the motherboard is in and I have all the other brass standoffs screwed in so I'm only left with the top two holes on my motherboard which can't seem to be able to be screwed in those top two other things. So I guess I should leave them and be very careful?

The left top and the right top is the problem. Unlike the bottom and middle of the motherboard that actually has standoffs, they screw in just fine for me. It's still pretty stable without the top two screws but I just want to know if I can get by with it or need to fix it
