Is the pre-applied thermal paste on a h100i electrically conductive?

Recently the temps on my i7-2700k have been in the mid 50 degrees C when idle and reached 100 degrees C at load. I decided to reapply the thermal paste. The original thermal paste had become dry and flaky. While cleaning it off the cpu some of I fell off the side and now looks like it is resting on pins in the cpu socket.

How worried should I be? Should I remove the cpu and attempt to clean the socket?

I have a bottle of 99.9% isopropanol, so that shouldn't be a problem.

@Someone Somewhere thanks this got nearly all of the flakes out. I managed to pick up the rest using some coffee filter paper soaked in isopropanol. Just need to turn it on and see if it works.
