Should be fine they are both the same speed and type of memory. As long as both sticks are working you shouldn't have problem. Although I would run something like memtest86 to make sure they are happy working together.

You can try, there's no guarantee they will play together, mixing DRAM, even the same exact model from different packages can be and often is problematic, which is why they sell such a variety of packaged sets, sticks in a set are tested to play nice.
