a question without answer for one decade "how to install age of mythology on 2 cd?"

my cousin gave me a game called age of mythology full edition and it is in a 2 cd game, but after i installed the second disc a message appear insert disc 1 and after i insert again the first disc a message appear again that i need to re-install again the game but after i did that same message appear that i still need to insert disc 1 how can i really install a 2 cd game? i have the product code of age of mythology but funny i cant install it - from juan carlo of lisbon portugal

Steam is perfectly legal, and not a pirate site. It's reputable. The only way you'll end up with malware is possibly if the original developers included malware in the game.

We won't help with piracy, though it's a bit of a grey area when you already own the game.

uhmm.. i think not i also have this rise of the nation too (a damage cd) but it really dont play (install) ..thank you friend :)

First off, what version of Windows is your PC running? Given that the game is over 10 years old, there's a possibility that it might not like Windows 7, or in particular might not like 64-bit Windows 7, unless you install it using Compatibility Mode.

Second, have you tried installing it on other PCs, in particular PCs with other versions of Windows (including, say, Windows XP)? If you get the same error message no matter what version of Windows (including XP) that you try it on... then the disks are damaged.

The good news is...even if it doesn't work, you didn't pay anything for it, so you're only out the time.

thank you :) uhmm.. i heard that some people also have same problem as mine on installing 2 cd game even not age of mythology game)(even they are not damage cd) but anyway thanks god you guys are definitely nice :) and real good people :)

The game is now available on steam. And if you cannot resolve your issue, go buy it from steampowered.com. I LOVE this game, its one of my favorite RTS games of all time, and it works just fine for me even on windows 8 (from the disks). But go get it on steam!

uhmm.. is it safe? they said that if you're downloading games you might get a virus or spyware and i dont want to be infected thats why im just using cd's and not downloading uhmm..some downloading sites cause some disturbance on other pc's and laptops . i heard that some can copy the crack folder on the first cd then copy the icon on the crack folder it will work,but when i tried it nothing happen maybe you can show me the proper step on that crack folder.. plss.. thank you
