I will be buying a new pc soon its the Acer Aspire XC100.

AMD E1-2500
1.7Ghz
4gb ram
1tb hard-drive
AMD Radeon HD 7310

I understand its not going to be an outstanding pc but I was wondering to be able to use it for some gaming should I replace the graphics card. I was thinking maybe something like the geforce gtx 750. I want to be able to play games like Battlefield, at a decent quality.

Would this be a good idea?
Any other graphics cards that would be better around $150?

thanks.

You can get the 750TI, it runs off motherboard power. All you need to do is take out the old card and plug this one in!

EVGA 750ti $130 after rebate ($140 originally) with free shipping...

I would see what power supply comes with it. That chip is used a lot in note books and the power supply may not handle much of an upgrade. Hit www.notebookcheck.net. to check it out. It's nice dad is getting it for you but ask him to save his money and get you a better one for Christmas.

Thanks, dads not buying it for me its for him but he said I can use it for gaming as it will be connected through ethernet as our internet is bad.

Is there any other cards that would fit and would give me enough performance for the price?
