So here's what I was thinking. I'm planning on buying the Rm850 but I don't like the Flat cables it come with and would prefer something a bit more standard.

What I want to know is if I can purchase one of corsair's after-market Modular Cables and use it with the RM850 as I don't see them listing a "for RM850 only" anywhere.

Thanks.

Hi ThatCoolBlueKid
Dont buy the RM850w , it has low grade capacitors , Poor quality capacitors break down quickly over time resulting in spiky voltage being delivered to the motherboard. This results in motherboard breakdown or poor cpu performance.
Get a quality PSU with high grade Japanese capacitors from seasonic/xfx or any psu from corsairs HX ,TX or Ax range or cloolermasters v series or evga supernova series

Care to provide any proof/evidence of this?

that might be your hit, seems like they havent updated their custom cables for some reason to match the rm series. might be able to find a custom maker for similar price in north america
