Hi, I found a cheap upgrade for my old PC. The problem is the CPU I found is AM2+ ( Athlon x2 7750 2.7Ghz ) . My motherboard is AM2 rs740m03a1. I can't find much information about it online :( . Will that cpu work on my board?

You have an OEM rig, I highly doubt you will be able to use that CPU with your board. What is your current CPU? The one you are looking at is Phenom I based, and was not a very good chip, overall. Generally sticking money into such an old system is a waste. Time for a new rig, to be honest.

I'm asking because I saw this on wikipedia:

AMD confirmed that AM2 processors will work on AM2+ motherboards and AM2+ processors will work on AM2 motherboards. However, the operation of AM2+ processors on AM2 motherboards will be limited to the specifications of Socket AM2 (1 GHz HyperTransport 2.0, and one power plane for both cores and the IMC). AM2 processors do not benefit from the faster HyperTransport 3.0 and separate power planes on AM2+ motherboards.
