Hi All,

Processor : AMD FX8350
MOBO : Asus M5A97 Evo R2.0
Ram : Corsair Vengeance 8 GB
GPU : MSI Radeon R9 270

Guys i installed a fresh copy of windows. And i installed the drivers one by one. And after i installed the Asus Motherboard CD and after restarting my system Hangs in the Password Screen ( Before Entering the Password). I am able to log in Safe Mode. No Overclocking done after the fresh installation. And i have reset the bios too. Please do let me know what could be the possible errors.

Thanks,

Ive seen this happen with asus softwares sometimes.. I would open msconfig check the hide all msft services and look through and disable any asus stuff. it wont affect drivers so your good there. restart from doing that in safemode and see if it hangs. gradually go up the list of unchecked svcs until it hangs. and uninstall the related program.

Guys i have found out what was causing the Hang in the Password Screen. Let me elaborate. I have three sound cards in my Desktop.

1) Realtek On-Board ( Front Panel Enabled in my Cooler Master HAF 912 Mobo)
2) Creative Audigy Sound Card (PCI) - Default Sound Card In Control Panel
3) Scarlett Studio External (USB).

All the three devices are enabled and i switch to the sound cards on different occasions. There was a Sony Headset Connected to the Front Audio panel of my Cabinet. I am not sure what was causing this issue when the creative sound card get initialized after few seconds it gets hanged. After i removed the Headset from the Front Audio port the Hanging has stopped. I have not removed or stopped any Windows Services or Startup Programs. Thanks for all your suggestion. Hope this could help someone in the future.

Thanks,
Manoj

Nope it does not cause any issues after that but before logging it does hang the system. I have rebooted my system almost 10-12 times with random intervals without the Headset it did not cause any issue.
