Hi, in my geforce experience program I had no option to reinstall my driver.

I downloaded the installer from the nvidia website.

I'm wondering can I just go ahead and run the installer and will it uninstall the driver I currently have and reinstall the new one or must I go and uninstall everything manually and then install?

what do you mean when updating?

basically right now I have the latest drivers (not beta) and I want to reinstall them, and geforce experience didn't have the option to reinstall some im wondering can I just run the installer from the website? like I don't have to manually uninstall anything?

yes why go trough all that trouble for something so simple

just run the new drivers they will automatically uninstall the old onee and install the new one, you don't need to uninstall, only AMD drivers are like that not Nvidia

if this was catalyst drivers then you should be worried but its GeForce drivers so you can install anyway you like nothing will crash

ok I guess your the expert ... I understand my 14 years of installing cards I learned nothing and have no idea what insures me a good working clean install

can you post the NVidia link on what you saying on that ?? so I can read and better understand about that ?? thanks

is there a pint in linking something like that, really now its like asking me to show you a link on how to turn on a PC, sorry mate but I wont do something so irrelevant and unimportant, again I use nvida gpu's have been for about 8years now and I download and install all drivers the same and I have never had a problem, so its your problem for having a problem with a method NVidia has been using for many years
