Needing something with an 11 inch screen that can play Half Life 2 and lesser graphic intense games on a laptop. Budget is about $350.
While I am not expecting to play Crysis or anything current...Being able to play some HL2 on medium settings would work out great.
The recommended system requirements for HL2:
Pentium 4 or Athlon XP
CPU Speed: 3.0 Ghz
RAM: 1 GB
OS: Windows 2000/XP
Video Card: DirectX 9 level Graphics Card
DirectX version: 9.0

I have to stick with the 11 inch screen, and I could care less if it has a optical drive or not.
I have seen some dual core intel chips with faster speeds...but wasn't sure if it was a moot point seeing how they were only dual core, intel onboard gfx, and Celerons. Some were baytrail as well.
