Solution
Wow that is cheap, usually 2400mhz memory is at least 50 to $70 more than 1600mhz. Since the prices are so good, yeah just get the 2400mhz ram.

Actually, it is really dependent upon the game. There are some games (e.g. Batman Arkhum Asylum, Crysis 3, etc) that actually show a performance gain of 6 FPS and higher when using 2400Mhz DDR3 over 1600Mhz DDR3. The higher performance with faster system memory increases when games are played at higher resolutions. So, what used to be considered a waste of money buying faster system memory is quickly becoming the opposite. With 2560x1440 (WQHD) and 4K (UHD) gaming becoming ever more popular, having faster system memory will begin to have more justification. For most gamers, it is not worth it as the vast population of PC gamers use the 1920 x 1080 resolution or lower. Expect to see future PC games to more efficiently harness the performance that faster system memory provides.
