I have $200-220

I have really been researching and I can't decide so I'm asking for help

A good headset with a good mic and very good stereo (clarity) for $200-$220

I spend 60% off game and 40% on game

And I have a horrible sound card

You could also recommend headphones to me.. Thank you

what motherboard do you have?

i have a set of beyer dt 990's i got on amazon for $150 and a blue snowball mic i got used for less than $50 and im pretty sure that combo beats anything within that price range for audio quality as far as a headset goes.

this setup will not work if you have a lot of ambient noise around you though as the headphones are open ear and the mic isnt noise cancelling.

with $200 I would recommend not trying to get a low end hifi headset, seperate mic, and an amp. You just wont be able to with that kind of money. I would go for a complete, ready to go out-of-box setup. You're best bet is a pair of Tritton AX Pros or Astro A40's. I think the Trittons retail for $200-$250ish and the A40's are $250. I've had the Tritton AX Pros for years and I think they're fantastic. They're less expensive than the Astro A40's, but not by much. I've never owned the Astros but I have friends who absolutely love them. Both are HUGE in the gaming world. I've even seen the cheaper Tritton products in GameStops and Best Buys.
