I have 2 rams on my pc. One is the kingston value ram 4 GB and the other one is Corsair vengeance 4 GB ram. Can my computer use the faster ram to operate instead of the slower ram in any ways

Solution
Unlocked CPU can be overclocked well beyond the stock speed... But regular (locked) CPUs can only be overclocked slightly... and it would take very conservative OC'ing to speed-up 1333 mhz RAM up to 1600Mhz.

I can OC my AMD locked Athlon from 3.0 GHz to around 3.3 or less and that alone can speed up my 1333MHz RAM to 1600+Mhz.. so it doesn't take much overclocking.

I tried that thing but when i went to the memory configuration tab, i pressed enter. There was nothing to set the ram speed. Below the memory configuration tab, there were the speeds of ram. I was not able to go there, I was not able to access it. Please Help!

Prebuilt computers are brand name (Dell, HP, Acer, etc)... they usually have the BIOS locked, settings are either hidden or gayed out and inaccessible... So there's not much you can configure.

Overclocking the CPU can also overclock the RAM... see if overclocking the CPU is possible and if so, overclock it just enough so the RAM goes from 1333Mhz to 1600Mhz or around that.

I have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz processor. I have heard that the cpu's ending with I and K can be overclocked. Rest of the cpus cant.
