Hey there. I just built a new computer with a Gigabyte F2a55m-DS2 board a gtx 470 card, AMD A10-5800k processor and 4gigs of ddr3 on one stick that came with the package. I got one blue screen a month ago probably and now it happens daily. It just started doing it daily it wasn't a build up. It usually happens when I play League of Legends or other graphical games. Anyone know anything else to try? I have just set it to no reboot automatically so I will post the stop code once it BSODS again I might not have installed the drivers correctly but i don't know how to tell what i even need. Any help would be appreciated.

At this point you will have to isolate the problem component. Could be the motherboard or the video card or even something else. To do this you will have to do a process of elimination. Try the graphics card in a different machine, Try a different gpu in your machine etc. It is very likely that you have a physical problem with a component. My guess would be the graphics card has problems.

I would start by opening the unit up and reseating the components. Check everything for dirt and damage as you do so. Otherwise it sounds to me like faulty hardware, but that's an educated guess, you have to do the work of checking everything.

I know the memory isn't the problem. I swapped it with sticks I know are good. I didn't update the bios when I installed the.mobo and cpu could this be the problem. and now I am no longer getting 00000124 but 00000101.

It is almost 100% not the bios. Are you monitoring the temperatures of the components? It sounds to me like a Graphics card problem. It is overclocked? Make sure you have all drivers updated and all Microsoft updates. Disassemble the PC. Reassemble carefully inspecting every part and making sure that everything is seated properly.

I disassembles and reassembled and right on que it bods right away to a 0x101 then it just restarts restarts a couple more times. It seems like if I go very slowly it is less likely to bsod. I can't update the chipset driver while in safe mode which it boots to fine and will not bsod at all.
