I have built my first gaming computer, and I am running into a couple of issues. First my computer is randomly freezing, even if I am not running a game. I have been checking my temps, which they are quite low (20 degrees C) I am also not finding out how to run in crossfire mode. I have selected it in the catalyst control, but it is only showing up as a single card in MSI afterburner. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Dylan

Might want to add my build:

FX- 6300 with Hyper 212 EVO (sligtly OC to 4.3Ghz)
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)
Rosewill Capstone 750W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply

Also running 5 additional cans in case to keep it cool

Solution
Three things both related to memory,
1) Run MemTest86 and make sure there are no issues (if there are issues try the following)
2) Try running with just one stick (above 1600 MHz Gigabyte says to use only one DIMM per channel)
3) A-Data doesn't have any 970 or higher chipsets on their compatibility list, not sure if anyone has run a similar setup and could give feedback

Other then that same as swifty's advise as a starting point
