Blue Screen- SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

Just a quick question. Is this error due to GPU overclocking or CPU overclocking? I OCed my friend's AMD 8350 and it seemed pretty stable with a few hours of Prime95. His GPU was much harder to OC though, he got unlucky with that. Anyway, is this error CPU or GPU related? Thanks.

Edit: His gpu is a gtx 760.

Im guessing it is a cpu error. Try putting the cpu to stock and try again. If it comes up with the same error you know it's the gpu.

Well, it's alot easier to reset the GPU clock so I just told him to do that. If it crashes again, then we know it's the CPU.

I thought so. Downclock the cpu, perhaps it is clocked too high and for some reason prime95 did not seek it out.
Continue to downclock it until you don't see the error anymore. Also next time use several different tests when overclocking.
