I just realized DVI =/ display port.

My build is equipped with 3 mini display ports and a dvi (radeon 280x)

I have 2 IPS LG monitors. both take VGA and HDMI only one take DVI

the third monitor is an ACER which can take VGA and DVI

currently i have

hdmi--> mini display port

DVI--->mini display port

and lastly: VGA--> DVI

Neither windows or catalyst will allow a triple setup.
Now google has all this talk of "active" and "passive" adapters. I suppose my converters are passive.
so to my understanding i must have an active adapter that is

Mini display port --> DVI

or should my setup be working as is? I mean two of my monitors are using mini display ports, although they are passive. If someone could clear this up...

Do you have any errors in Device Manager at all?

Device manager is perfect, no errors. There's only one oddity, all 3 of my monitors using generic drivers. I tried installing the correct drivers. can anyone conform if this adapter would solve my eyefinity issue?
