I have a pretty well spec'd server that I have Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter running as the main OS. I have the Hyper-V role installed and am hosting several virtual servers.

I wanted to use this machine's horsepower to play games on, so I bought and installed a GTX770 and a 750w PSU. I have 32Gb ram in it and have a 3.5Ghz quad-core Xeon as my processor.

I downloaded/installed Watch_Dogs and no matter what settings I put the game at, it stutters. It is driving me NUTS.

Does anyone here game from a Windows Server machine? Anyone have any tips on what settings I can change to make this work? Or does anyone have any experience with gaming from a VM? I have read a lot about RemoteFX and was thinking that maybe that would work?

Any help would be appreciated a lot!
Thanks.

Don't worry it's not your computers fault, it's Ubisofts and Watch Dogs fault, it has shuttering issues and yet there is no official update that addresses them, if you google around you will find thousand of frustrated people about this issue. Try a different game for the moment.

On another note, if at the same time you run lets say 5 virtual servers and the game, that might also cause some issues because your CPU will be used by them.

Try a different game and see if it's better or not.
