Heyyo let me just start with my sys specs so you have an idea of what ive crammed together and started using as a pc

MOBO : msi g43
CPU : 4670 (i5)
GPU : Saphire r7 260x
Power Supply : XFX Pro 750W Xtr Gold Single Rail Full Modular
After market heatsink on CPU
Kingston 8GB (2x4GB)
Wireless : TP-Link TL-WDN4800
2 hdds 1 ssd
Windows 7 Ult
Recently updated and restored defaults on bios so im pretty sure its not being a butt.

So now that that is out of the way (Thats all i could think of off hand). Which brings me to the issue, which is a random (I cannot replicate it at will) annoyance where my screen goes black ( Samsung 30" ish) i did have to modify the driver on my GPU to work with the screen correctly however i have been experiencing this problem since before i modified it AND i sent it off for an RMA so im at least 95% certain its not my GPU. Also side note, which is a big one. i've noticed that whenever i'm watching a video or have say twitch playing it tends to crash more often. BUT I have also noticed that i can run a game for 12+ hours and have nothing fail, but it just failed 3 times within 6 hours of streaming twitch.

Unfortunately i have run the course of what tests i can run on it as i no longer work at a computer repair store and i dont have a test bench to test individual parts anymore. all i do have is hirens 10.1ish and 15.2 i think (something close to that) i did PC Checker just to see what it would pull up and the cpu tests fail right away on testing core 3.

I'm thinking its my CPU i should RMA next but considering i use my computer everyday i dont want to have to RMA one thing and then have to send another part out because it was not the faulty part.Any speculation would be nice or if anyone has seen this throw your input in and i hope we can solve this quick incase anyone else is having this problem also.

My GF has a 260X that did the same thing. It was connected to the screen (ASUS 24") via HDMI. In an act of desperation I connected it via DVI to HDMI (+new HDMI cable). It seems to work now.

This is not a solution just an observation that might help you since I have no idea why it works now...
