Hi toms team and friends.
first of all thanks for your help in the past.

Just upgraded my old 6 year old desktop to the specs below. and as im not
a gamer, i didnt want to go over board.
i do a bit of graphic design and want to watch hi def and blu ray movies
and some 3d content as well.

* A New 42 inch SONY 3D KDL42W800B hi def screen
and Passive 3D Glasses
*Asus Z 97 Pro Motherboard (with Wireless ac)
*Intel Haswell Core i7 4790 3.60Ghz 8MB LGA 1150
*NOCTURA NH-U9B SE2 CPU COOLER W/DUAL NF-B9 FANS
*Corsair CMZ 16GX3M2A 1866 C9 16GB (2X8GB) DDR3 Vengeance
*iNTEL 530 SERIES 240GB SATA3 SSD
*Western Digital Black Caviar WD2003FZEX 2TB 64MB SATA 3
*ASUS nVIDIA GTX 760 DC20C-2GD5 GeForce GTX OC 2GB
*NZXT PHANTOM 410 BLACK MID TOWER BLACK
*WINDOWS 8.1
*ASUS BC 12D2HT BLU RAY COMBO
*CORSAIR VENGEANCEK70 KEYBOARD
*SEASONIC X SERIESA V3 650 WATT PSU 80PLUS GOLD.

My question is quite simple, i just want to know what the team would recommend
for blu ray software for watching Blu Ray content

...and 2nd which 3D Blu Ray Software for watching Blu Ray 3D Content.
As i have tried a couple and can not get the settings right to be able to even watch
3D Blu Ray movies.

Ive tried Total Media Theatre 6 by Arcsoft and it nearly sent me insane,
and the other one was worst.

My first mistake was not realizing that the Blu Ray Software was required
to make the whole 3d blu ray experience enjoyable.

Any help on some good software thats make viewing blu ray and the 3d blu ray easier
to watch would be much appreciated.

Thank You all for any help
Cheers KiwiKev

WinDVD Pro 11 is the best!

Extra 10% off code: SAVINGSCOREL10

VLC doesn't officialy support Bluray.

thanks real beast for taking the time to reply.

my computer should be OK shouldn't it to play these blu ray 3d movies?
have you tried the arcsoft total theatre, because people keep telling me thats the best one to use,
and its probably me who has stuffed up the settings and that's why it wont let me play the 3d movies.

RealBeast, i pay more in late fees from my local video rental shop than i do in actually renting the actual
Blu Ray Movies and that's the real truth. Because i spend so much time trying to get the settings right to view the movie.

If anyone has any experience in arcsoft total theatre i would love some help, mainly because i actually bought the software
based on what people were telling me.
VLC wont play it because of a missing file or something.

It just gets so frustrating RealBeast, when all you want to do, is something you can't even though
you have the right equipment, if you know what i mean.

Thanks Real Beast
