Hi guys,
I am kinda new to this field as my name says.
My problem is that I have an Alien ware M14Xr1 with following specs

Intel Core i7 2860QM
1600mhz 8 GB ram
3GB GT555M
7200RPM HDD - 750GB

As you can see Except Graphics card all other components are fine (CPU is still a killer).
So is there any way that i can use a Vi dock with my laptop such as using wifi adapter (Saw a video on YouTube, guy removed the WiFi card and put the vi dock cable there). Or should i go for a new Custom gaming Desktop build (Which will cost me a lot :-( ).

So please guys tell me what should i do. Also i have seen couple of people uploaded videos on youtube showing ViDock 4+ Overdrive with GTX 780Ti.
So what is the most powerful graphics card that i can use in my laptop with Vi dock.

Solution
I would keep it as-is, but then again, I never would have gotten a laptop to begin with. :3

Not sure about Vidock, but it shouldn't be too expensive to beat your current game performance with a desktop if you go that route. I mean, even a GTX 750 would perform much better in games, and that's a $120 card. It scores 3x as powerful as the GT 555m in Passmark.

An i5-4430 would match your mobile i7 blow for blow, and on a budget you wouldn't really notice a difference going to an i3-4150, since even that has pretty great performance, just not as good as Intel's other overkill options.

Thanks for the answer mister

ViDock 4 ++ Overdrive (Two 6-pin OR 6-pin and 8-pin/320W/329mm)
$279US + $30US Worldwide Shpping
And if i go for AMD RADEON r9 280x - $299 (if it supports)
Total around - $600

Then i will get a very good performance
It sucks now playing games at low settings.

And if i am going for the pc then i won't go for one that will last only one year
I will go for something that will beat all the games minimun 3-4 years

Sorry i am on a budget now so PC is not possible
So please share your experience of vidock (if anybody used) with me
