Hi All,

So I built my first computer several years back and it's still doing great; however, I no longer need/want/have space for the giant tower I purchased at the time. It's the CM HAF 922 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Since I know next to nothing about computers and put this one together watching Youtube videos (and didn't have any problems), I wondered if you all could recommend some smaller cases that will fit all my current hardware. I mean, I'm not looking for tiny but I definitely don't need this gigantic case. I didn't want to just buy another random case and have the motherboard not fit or something.

Here's my setup:
Cooler Master HAF 922
MB ASROCK|P67 EXTREME4 (B3) P67
PSU CORSAIR|650W CMPSU-650TXV2
RAM: 12GB
Soundcard: Xonar Essence STX
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
CPU: Intel i5-2400
HDD: 1 SSD & 1 Regular
Optic Drive: 1 DVD Burner (ASUS DRW-24B1STDRW-24B1ST)

Thanks!

P.S. If it matters, I do basic surfing, computing, some gaming (mostly WoW), and movies and the like, so nothing too strenuous where I'd need crazy cooling.

You have a ATX motherboard and this requires a larger case than a mATX. The smallest builds are made with ITX motherboards. If your case looks inside like this http://www.coolermaster.com/uploadfile/fileproduct_list... you have a little room to shrink. Look for "ATX / Micro ATX Mid Tower" or "ATX Mini Tower" at newegg.com. Antec NSK4100 is the smallest ATX case that I found using a quick search.

What do you have in mind? Do you have a specific case as a reference for your design?

This is really helpful.

I thought something like this might work, or similar.

Your proposal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is Fractal Design ARC Mini R2 is only for mATX and ITX but it has a bigger brother ARC Midi R2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... that supports ATX motherboards.

Ask anon2034 said, Coolermaster HAF XB evo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is also a very interesting case with good ventilation.

What is not very clear for me: do you want to replace only the case or you are willing to get a smaller motherboard in order to fit in a smaller case? What is your budget?
