Intel z97/h97 on asus H81M-E, Wont boot Help

I got a intel celeron 1840 from the haswell refresh and i built my pc and went to boot up and it would not show anything on the screen. Is the because of the z97 to H81 compatibility. What do i need to do to fix it? Thanks for the help :)

If you put the CPU correctly then it must be the ram or the GPU which are having problems or are put in incorrectly, You should check the ram and the GPU(Graphic cards) for any problems

Would i require to do a bios update to make the new chipset compatible with the old one?
