On the top like a cherry on top (yes, that would be a problem) or on top like a bat hanging off the top of a cave (no, that is fine as long as you vent the hot air out)?

It's also useful sometimes for people to know what case you have and how much space do you have inside?

Looking at some images of the NZXT, you'd have to get out a measuring tape and make sure you have a little more than 2 inches of space at the top between the roof of the case and whatever you will find down from there (the CPU? or some on-board motherboard components).

In general having the radiator and the top of the case is fine, hot air rises but that also push's air through the rad as well, you will have to do what Karsten75 said in your case.
