The best would be if you would go for the r9 290x tri-x oc
if you have the money otherwise go for the r9 290 for mantle
Because the tri-x cooler is very good I have the r9 290 tri-x oc
And I can't hear it even at full load and it is very cool.

I have use the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X for a few months now and it's working like a dream. I have heard a few people with MSI Twin Frozr OC cards that have experienced the cards rapidly hit max temperature, especially in dual card set ups. Although that may not be the case with the model you are looking at.
