I am looking for the optimal settings for my razer deathadder 2013 while playing battlefield 4. I am very inexperienced and I want an accurate answer.

There really is no "accurate answer." Everybody has different preferences, so you'll just have to change it around until you find what's comfortable for you. I would make sure acceleration is off though; it can make aiming more difficult.

If I was going to answer, I'd say exactly what Nightman did.

Usually i tune the dpi to the point that i don't have to move around my mouse to much for looking 90 degrees left and right in fps games. Everyone has their own opinion.

I have had a lot of experience with fine tuning mice in Battlefield. (I'll have to make a video on this some day)

- First go to your computer and set your windows sensitivity to the 6th notch (this should be default).
- Next you'll probably want to disable mouse acceleration for FPS gaming (If you don't know how to do this just reply to my comment asking how).
- Now go to your main browser or desktop, open up Razer Synapse 2.0 and keep changing the sensitivity setting until you can comfortably move the mouse from point to point without missing, If you find the right sensitivity this will feel natural to you within 20 minutes (I personally use 3200DPI)
- Now go into the game on the test range or a empty server with the gun sights you will be using the most (If you are new to the game I would recommend using the Coyote[Chinese] sight)
- Now face a point on a wall and do a 360 turn to reach the exact same point, Measure that distance with a ruler.
- Adjust your in game sensitivity until you can comfortably move your mouse between two points both Hipfire and ADS without over-aiming or under-aiming.
- Now play the game on that sensitivity for at least 20-25 minutes, If you are under-aiming raise the sensitivity a little bit and Vice Versa until you hit a sweet spot.
- Measure the distance for a 360 of your mouse and use this setting in every game you play (I personally have 4.05 inches for a Hipfire 360 and 6.6 inches for a ADS 360 on a Deathadder 2013 mouse, however most people in Battlefield use around about 5 inches for a Hipfire 360 depending on their playstyle)

Sorry for the long answer but I really need to make a video on this sometime

I find it depends on the game I am playing. I use a Cyborg RAT mouse and I have a little button just in front of the scroll wheel I can use to turn up and down the DPI on the fly, which is very useful. I recommend you look for something similar, i.e a mouse with a high DPI that can easily be changed at any time as it is a lot more versatile and you'll be able to find what is comfortable for you.

Yep and that adjustability is a godsend if you share your pc with another person. My wife and I both game on my PC and the high dpi settings I use drive her nuts. But with two button presses she is happy.
