Will this RAM still work on my motherboard even though its not on the memory support list?

Here's the motherboard I plan on getting and its memory support list: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97%20Pro4/?cat=Memory

And here is the RAM I plan on getting: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233180

The RAM says its compatible with the latest Intel processors, yet it's not compatible with my motherboard. Will it still work? If not, is there a RAM around the same price point that is?

Thank you.

It will fit well, the memory support list means the asrock did test those RAM before, and the asrock can't test all the RAM. As long as the RAM is DDR3 with 1.5V and the speed is in the DDR3 1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered memory range, also you can use the intel XMP for best performance.
  2. They should work, but if you want to be sure , these are on the supported list:

    G.SKILL Sniper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231461

(just copy the model number on newegg, then hit ctrl+F on the support list page & paste in the number to find it)
