Will a Core 2 Duo E7200 @2.53ghz, 3Mb cache ,FSB 1333MHz, OC to 3.16 ghz, Give performance equivalent to E8500 @3.16 GHz, 6MB cache,FSB 1333MHz?

Not equivalent because the cache is half of the e8500 but it should be very simular unless your you encoding or editing and such

It won't be exactly the same, but very close. Not that it matters much anyway, those are both 2008 CPUs that are currently discontinued.
