What is your budget? You shouldn't need more than a good 500W PSU

Your build is pretty low power.

A VERY good quality cheap unit is the Antec VP-450. I have one powering a rig WAY more powerful than yours.

Well here is a good suggestion that will work well with your system. It's a little overkill, but there is a sale on it so its the same price as the 550W unit. So you might as well get the extra watts for the same price. Hope this helps.

That PSU is VERY overkill for this system.

https://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-vp450 This is what I recommend. It is the same or better than the XFX in terms of quality. It is much more suited to the system and costs much less.

Are you sure? I was under the impression one 12V rail was better than 2. I could be mistaken though.

It makes no difference. This is a common myth. They are just different designs.

The VP-450 actually can safely produce 550w while remaining in 80+ bronze specs and at 450w it passes 80+ silver specs.

The unit doesn't have a PFC (means nothing in terms of quality and reliability) but because of this it does not qualify for the 80+ ratings.

I have one in my girlfriend's computer powering an i5 2130 (99w CPU) and an overclocked 2gb hd7850.

If OP plans to upgrade the GPU SOON, I would recommend getting a PSU with 2 PCI cables though. If he does not plan to upgrade it soon, the Antec is what I strongly recommend.

In reality OPs system will pull no more than 250w at FULL 100% load.

Thank you tiny voices,so a good 450W psu like the Antec VP-450 will be enough ? The psu am actually using is a Coolermaster 725Watt extreme and I don't want to buy it with my friend as it is more expensive.

That Coolermaster is HORRIBLE quality. The Antec will be many times better.
